The large and artistically brilliant item you are viewing is an original type III V.W. bonnet which has been air brushed and hand painted by Gatch Rivett (the gas masked artist).
Dimensions of the bonnet are approx. 124cms at its widest point at the top, 94cms at its narrowest at the bottom (nose) and 127cms long.
There are a few marks and some minor spots of patina, but over all very solid. The bonnet is hanging on wire put through the bonnet bolt holes at the back as shown in the photos to hang as wall art.
There is no VW badge on the nose, but these can be picked up easily, if so desired to add to it again.
