This was based on the journal as seen when Jack is devising his own take on Christmas in bed from “Tim Burton’s - The Nightmare Before Christmas” (1993).

There is a hardback cover with 'The Scientific Method' wording on the front, ‘Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas' wording on the reverse, with Jack Skellington studs on the corners. The inner cover features artwork inspired by Jack's blackboard, and the inner pages are white lined with character artwork in the corners.

There are approx. 120 lined pages and has a ribbon bookmark. Dimensions are 21.5cms high by 25.3cms wide by 2.5cm deep (large A4 in size).
