The rare and awesome figure viewed is of the Centipede from the movie James and the Giant Peach by Tim Burton.
Item is approximately 18-inches tall, comes new and mint in a near mint condition box made by Jun Planning - Japan, circa 2001.
There is a minor fault with the head, which is that it has popped out from the neck and needs popping back in if the item is going to be removed from the packaging.
Otherwise, it displays perfectly as shown in the images.
