The awesome item being viewed is a full-size Boba Fett replica prop, a precision crafted helmet from episode V - The Empire Strikes Back, made by EFX collectibles.

With the master patterns cast from the original screen-used helmet, it has been constructed from ABS plastic, die cast metal & machined aluminium and comes with LED lighting effects for the rangefinder.

This Boba Fett lid is brand new and sealed and comes with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ from EFX collectibles.

The infamous bounty hunter - Boba Fett had his first public debut on the 24th of September 1978 in the San Anselmo County Fair parade in California, (the home of Lucasfilm at the time).

Shortly thereafter, we find out more about him in the ‘Star Wars Holiday Special’ in an animated feature. He saves Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 from a monster and seems to be a friend trying to help them. But then he reveals that he is working with the dark lord Sith - Darth Vader!

We next see Boba Fett in Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Back, he is one of the six bounty hunters charged by Darth Vader to hunt and capture Luke Skywalker, along with Princess Leia, Han Solo and Chewbacca the Wookiee.

He tracks the Millennium Falcon to Lando Calrissian's Cloud City (Bespin), where with the assistance of Darth Vader they capture our desperate heroes. Han is then encased and frozen in carbonite, for the bounty hunter to take to Jabba the Hutt to collect his bounty.

Boba Fett meets his fate in Star Wars - Return of the Jedi where in battle with our heroes he is pushed into the Sarlacc’s mouth in the Great Pit of Carkoon on Tatooine.

In 1997, Boba Fett in a scene with a CGI Jabba the Hutt was inserted to the Special Edition of the first movie - Star Wars: A New Hope.

The master patterns for the EFX helmet were made by direct casting from the screen-used prop helmet. The timing of the LED's flash in the rangefinder are based on an extensive study of the original helmet!
